April is Fair Housing & Financial Literacy Month in Columbia, SC!
The Mayor and City Council have officially proclaimed April 2025 as National Fair Housing Month and National Financial Literacy Month—and we're celebrating empowerment, equity, and opportunity all month long!
🏠 Fair Housing Month is a powerful reminder that everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home--no matter their race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or ability. Equal access to housing is the foundation of strong, inclusive communities.
💰 Financial Literacy Month encourages all Columbians to level up their money skills—from budgeting and saving to credit and investing. When we understand our finances, we gain the power to make confident choices and build brighter futures for ourselves and our families.
