The Northern Lights 

Take a look at the Northern Lights from Churchill, Manitoba, Canada thanks to explore.org.
​The camera streams live 24/7 and has since February 2012. Watching during the day? Rewind and see what happened overnight! 
The northern lights, one of several astronomical phenomena called polar lights. It is curtains of colored light visible on occasion in the night sky.

The Northern Lights can be seen in Alaska, Michigan,  Norway, Finland, Scotland, Canada, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland, and Russia, among other Northern reaching countries and states. They are best viewed at night, when the sun is not obstructing the colors.
